This notice explains how System Craftbase uses personal information when you enquire, commission a briefing, or browse these pages.
Data controller

What we collect
From the enquiry form: name, email, chosen engagement, optional catalogue name, and the message you write. From commissioned work: the contact details of the merchandiser we correspond with, invoices, and the trading files you send (which should not include customer names). From the site: technical logs such as browser type if our host records them, and optional analytics cookies only if you accept them. See cookies.
Why we use it
To reply to enquiries, to perform a contract for a briefing, to invoice, to keep records required for UK accounting, and — if you accept analytics cookies — to see which journal notes are read. Legal bases are contract, legitimate interests in running a small reporting practice, legal obligation for invoices, and consent for optional analytics.
Retention
Unsuccessful enquiries are deleted after 18 months. Contracts, invoices, and delivered briefings are kept for seven years. Trading files you send are deleted within 90 days after the engagement ends unless you ask us to hold them for a follow-on pack. Server logs follow our host’s default, typically under 90 days.
Your rights
Under United Kingdom data protection law you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and portability where applicable. You may withdraw analytics consent without affecting access to the site. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
International transfers
We work from the United Kingdom. Email and hosting providers may process limited data in other countries. Where that happens we rely on the provider’s appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) as described in their notices.
Sharing
We do not sell contact lists. We share data with our accountant, our email host, and, if required, professional advisers or the law. Floor-visit travel bookings use the contact name you give us.
